The app has been much more popular than I had ever anticipated. I have received many encouraging emails and the app currently has 2400+ users. It is amongst the top 40 apps on the android market under the category "Lifestyle" ranked by popularity (mix of ratings and active downloads).

Please continue to pray for this project especially that my motives are firmly fixed on proclaiming the word with boldness and yet also humility.

I've finally released it! Its in the market! So anyone in the world with an android phone can now get access to it, Ie. All of you, go grab your copy =]

Got around to doing the verse formatting (can see in the pics below).
A general user interface facelift (Felix is working on something even prettier.

So as soon as they adjust their terms, assuming they dont change too much and hence make my program 'illegal' so to speak we should be good to publish. Felix also made a nice icon and I made some more changes to it. I'll type up the update log soon.

Ok I've made some improvedments and lots of bug fixes and optimisation to the app. Whats missing is a good application icon. Also I need to make a little orange circle around the search image on the widget image. Just so when the cursor is highlighting it the user can tell.

Once I get confirmation from ESV.org I will publish this app to the market =]

Was learning the new widget SDK and wacked this together tonight. ESV bible search (verse search only will work on keyword search), random verse and verse of the day on home screen (updates daily). Will also add reading plan. Probably will be my first app I actually bother publishing onto the Market (app store).
